James D. Hornbuckle is an accomplished attorney, USC graduate, and Magna Cum Laude law school alumnus. Beyond law, Mr. Hornbuckle serves as a pastor and certified yoga instructor, embodying a diverse and holistic approach to life and law.
Drew Sherman, a seasoned senior attorney with 18+ years in Entertainment and IP Litigation, holds degrees in Political Science and Law from the University of San Francisco. He's defended against hostile takeovers, protected publishers and authors in copyright disputes, and secured substantial jury awards in patent cases. Beatriz, boasting over a decade of experience in a leading LA bankruptcy firm, exhibits unwavering dedication, often extending her working hours as needed. As the office manager at Gomez Law, APC, her proficiency in Bankruptcy Chapters 7 and 13, coupled with superior communication skills, ensures smooth operations. Julio Soto-Kim attended Southwestern Law School's part-time evening program while maintaining a full-time job and actively participating in various student boards. With a diverse background encompassing real estate, property management, construction, and business entrepreneurship, Julio is dedicated to offering our clients a well-rounded perspective, strategic guidance, and effective solutions for both litigation and transactional matters. Drew S. Hennigan, J.D.
Drew S. Hennigan, a law clerk at Gomez Law, APC, holds a J.D. from Oregon and a LL.M. in Bankruptcy from St. John's School of Law. A New York licensed attorney, he clerked for Judge Robert D. Drain of the Southern District of New York, handling complex reorganizations to individual bankruptcies. Later, he contributed to Puerto Rico's historic governmental bankruptcy at an international law firm. Drew enjoys reading, beach strolls, and Notre Dame football.
Michael J. Manzer, a graduate of Arizona State University, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communications. He is currently earning his J.D. at Southwestern Law School, earning a double concentration in Entertainment Law and Tech / Entrepreneurship Law. With several years of academic and work experience in the business and legal field, he is well-versed in the all-inclusive approach that Gomez Law, APC delivers in their quality services. Lauren Kubiske is a dedicated 3L student at Southwestern Law School, where she is currently serving as the Senior Articles Editor for the Southwestern International Law Journal. With a strong foundation in legal scholarship and a keen interest in international law, Lauren brings a unique perspective to her work. Prior to her role as Senior Articles Editor, she gained invaluable experience as a Judicial Extern for Chief Judge Dana Sabraw at the United States District Court, Southern California. Robert Gonzalez is currently earning his J.D. at Southwestern Law School, where he is serving as a Lead Article Editor for the Southwestern International Law Journal and a Teaching Assistant for Prof. Michael Dorff. With a strong foundation in legal scholarship and an impressive academic record, Robert brings a detailed approach to his work that Gomez Law, APC delivers every day. Prior to attending Southwestern, Robert earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Florida State University. Outside of the office, Robert enjoys music, board games, and baking.

Alexandra Blair serves as the Property Manager and Executive Assistant for Mark A. Gomez, Esq. at Gomez Law, APC. With a B.A. in Communications from the College of Charleston, her expertise spans real estate, sales, PR, and marketing. Additionally, Alexandra runs her own consignment boutique and enjoys scuba diving, rollerblading, photography, puzzles, and word games.
Carina, with extensive customer service experience, is committed to helping clients at Gomez Law, APC. Attending California State University of Northridge and Cerritos College for a Paralegal degree, she ensures clients understand their legal representation, coordinating efficiently with attorneys. Outside of work, Carina enjoys backpacking, gardening, and hiking.
Inspired by her husband's law school journey, Susana embarked on a legal career. With five years as an immigration legal assistant and experience in family law and real estate marketing, her focus is on building client relationships. Outside of work, she officiates weddings and enjoys family time, cooking, gardening, and hiking. She holds an A.A. from Cerritos College in Marketing.
Beginning as a Legal Assistant in 2015, Guadalupe amassed experience in foreclosure litigation and immigration law while continually broadening her paralegal expertise. She's now pursuing an English and Paralegal Studies bachelor's degree at Cal State Los Angeles. As a mom of two, she enjoys family time, camping, and off-roading. Guadalupe holds an A.A. in English from East Los Angeles College.
Alex began his career in the Automotive Industry and then joined American Honda Motor Co., Inc., where he excelled as a customer service specialist, playing a key role in launching their digital client engagement campaigns. His keen interest in legal processes led him to Honda's Pre-Litigation Team in 2019, and he later specialized in Defense Warranty and Product Liability as a Paralegal at Bowman and Brooke, LLP, supporting over 65 cases and assisting in trials. Outside work, Alex enjoys spending time with his husband and their Golden Retriever, Lola, as well as traveling and hiking.
Alyssa Nicole A. Oresca is a cum laude graduate holding a bachelor’s degree in diplomacy and international relations from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.
